How can we participate?

Private halls providers are encouraged to participate by promoting the annual survey to their student residents through whatever means are available. For more information please register your interest on this site sometime after October and before the survey closes at the end of May.

Why participate?

The NSHS makes a number of awards each year. Most of the awards are open to private accommodation providers including the top tier “Best Private Halls Provider” award. Awards are given based on survey responses received from your residents. The calculation takes into account the sampling error and how representative the sample is. To have the best chance of success you need to ensure that as many students from as many of your different halls participate as possible.

Can we access the survey results?

Private halls providers actively participating in the NSHS project can optionally purchase survey findings at various levels of detail to suit their needs. Please contact us for more information.
